Kuebler, Barbara Elizabeth (Treweek)

April 16, 1940—December 13, 2003

Barbara Elizabeth from Lead, South Dakota obtained her B.A. degree in political science from the College in June 1961. She lived in Read and Cleveland Halls and was a reporter for the Scarlet & Black, which led to her membership in the professional journalism fraternity for women (Theta Sigma Phi). She also was a member of Young Democrats and the International Relations Club. Her photograph to the left is from the 1961 Cyclone.

From November 1961 through June 1969 she lived in Chicago (and Cicero), Illinois while she worked in the Legal Department of Employers Mutual Insurance Company and the Consumer Service Department of the Toni Division of the Gillette Company.

In August 1968 she married Donald Kuebler in Lawrence, South Dakota.

In 1969 she moved to Lake Worth, Florida, and in 1975 the Alumni Office lost contact with her. She died at age 63 on December 15, 2003 in Wayne, Pennsylvania.
